Leah, where have you been???
I apologize for not posting yet this year, and I also apologize for waiting several months to do an outfit series related to BTS’ latest album/music video. To be honest, I’ve been busy with traveling and work and school, and I also just kind of hate the style BTS has going on right now. So I’ve been hesitant to recreate anything. But, well, duty calls, and over the weekend, I finally manned up and shot an outfit.
The outfit you are about to see is based entirely upon the WINGS concept photos. An outfit (or outfits, idk yet) for “Blood Sweat & Tears,” BTS’ latest music video, will be coming later.
I doubt there will be many posts in these two series, but we will see. (Sorry in advance, but it’s kind of hard to style when you hate the clothing you’re working with.)
Now, without further ado, let’s begin.
Bangtan Style: How to Dress Like BTS “WINGS” Concept Photos
The following images were the inspiration for this post:
So many, I know.
And now here is what my version looks like:
It is based on V’s outfit and Jungkook’s shoes (if you couldn’t tell, lol).
The reason I chose V’s outfit to recreate was simply because it is the most do-able. It involves no fake pajamas [which are gross], and the shades of fabric aren’t too flashy for everyday use. It’s neutral yet stylish and fun, and it also uses a bomber jacket, which we all know how I feel about bomber jackets. ❤ ❤ ❤
I used my sparkly oxfords that sort of look like Jungkook’s loafers to capture the funkiness of everyone’s shoes, sans slippers [cause fake slippers are also gross]. I think they add a wonderful pop to an otherwise bland outfit.
Aren’t they great??
And that is all! As I’m sure you noticed, I didn’t look at the camera once in these photos. That’s because, when I took them, my eyes were dilated like you wouldn’t believe, so I physically couldn’t open them outside. Gotta love eye appointments.
But yeah, as always, thank you for reading, and in case you want to see more, you can check out the last Bangtan Style post I did here.
Until next time ❤
