The Best of Paris Fashion Week

It’s the final day of Paris Fashion Week, and with it, I want to reflect on some of the best things I’ve seen throughout the event. (Not that I was actually there in person lololol.)

Most of the pictures below were simply taken from Instagram, because that’s where I get my fashion fix. So enjoy this brief article that reminisces on all that I loved during the week. Hopefully you loved it, too.

The Best of Paris Fashion Week

As always, number one on my list is everything Chanel:

Not that I have a bias for the brand (because I don’t), but Karl Lagerfeld just knows how to kill it. Every single year, he makes Chanel’s show one of best, and this time was no exception.

I don’t know, maybe it’s the incredible amounts of white lace and tweed, but I just can’t ever resist falling in love.

Speaking of falling in love, check out this dress from Alexander McQueen:

It’s the Sarabande lace gown, and when I saw it, it took my breathe away. Again, maybe it’s just all the lace and sparkly things, but I love it. And I want it. And I wish I could afford it.

Other than that, though, not too much of the clothing really stood out to me. A lot of it was lovely and nice, but like every year, it was all very much the same. Only a few shows wowed me, and even those I don’t feel are worth sharing.

So was the week underwhelming? No. Fashion is never underwhelming. It was just…not as spectacular as years past.

It was, however, full of fabulous models.

First of all, Irene Kim:

Not only is she perfect (haha, can you tell she’s one of my favorites?), but she’s been constantly updating her feed with really cool behind the scenes photos from all throughout the week, which is awesome for someone pining to be there like me.

Another favorite of mine, Soo Joo, has been doing the same sort of thing, but I mostly just love her this week for getting a photo with CL (one of my secret girl crushes, shhhhh):

Sure, the picture with CL is really blurry, but it’s still amazing. And look at Soo Joo’s dress!! It’s just gorgeous! (Again, maybe it’s just the lace. I really, really like lace.)

Aside from them, there’s a model that this fashion week has led me to discover, via Vogue or TeenVogue or something of the sort: Taylor Hill.

She’s only one year older than me and is already a billion times more successful than I could ever even imagine, but that’s why I like her, I think. She’s gorgeous and has a beautiful Instagram feed, so of course I followed her, and I have not been disappointed. She’s also been sharing some pretty cool posts about the week, and I look forward to seeing more from her in the future.

Finally, to round out my list of favorites, we have someone who isn’t a model but is so gorgeous and famous and loved, she might as well be: Selena Gomez.

She showed up to fashion week looking hot. Capital H-o-t, HOT. And I just loved it so much that I wanted to point it out. As well as ask God if I can have her body.

Please?

But that is all! I can’t wait to see what the last day of PFW has in store, and I’ll be checking Instagram all day long in order to find out. Now to figure out what the heck I’m gonna wear to school…

Until next time ❤
