My First Julep Nail Polish

So the other week, my sister talked me into ordering  a beauty box, and in it was a Julep nail polish.

It’s my very first one from this brand, and I tried it out as soon as I possibly could. So far, I am in love with it, and I plan on using the brand forever and ever ❤

The color, Myriam, is a bright yet rich red that honestly can be worn at any time of the year. The formula is super great, too. It is thin (but not runny) and goes on so smoothly that it might as well be butter. I only used two thin coats, but I could have easily gotten away with just one.

Red coat, blue coats

Ignoring my dry cuticles and the fact that I still ended up getting the polish all over everywhere, isn’t the coverage amazing??

Honestly, the only thing I don’t like about this nail polish is the fact that the little “swatch me” sticker comes pre-stuck to the top of the brush:

Like, who designed this? Swatching is legitimately impossible.

But that’s just me nitpicking. (I’m such a jerk.)

For real, though. Go buy yourself one of these if you haven’t already. You won’t be disappointed.

PS – This has lasted on my nails for two weeks with minimal chipping. The chipping only became noticeable last night during work (but that’s just because of the type of work I do.) So the staying quality is also on point.

You’re killing it, Julep. Absolutely killing it.

Until next time, all ❤

I was looking through your BTS outfits when I saw this post. I got the same nail polish and I hope you figured it out by now, but the bottle actually has two caps. So you can take off the top cap and use the second one (which has the stick attached) and swatch it. I was confused at first too D:
