Bangtan Style: How to Dress Like Rap Monster and J-Hope in BTS’ “FIRE”

A little repetitive, yes, but it’s a lot more accurate of a recreation than the last one. I promise.

Anyway, click here for the previous post in this series and here for the next one once it is up. Also, feel free to check out the first Rap Mon and J-Hope outfit I did for “FIRE” by clicking here.

Now let’s get started 😀

Bangtan Style: How to Dress Like Rap Monster and J-Hope in BTS’ “FIRE” (2)

Okie dokie, here’s the inspiration behind my recreation:

And here’s some more…

And some more!

Ah, dang it. I repeated a photo. Oh well. You’re just gonna have to deal with it cause trying to take it out is gonna be waaaaaay too much work.

Anyway, if you couldn’t tell from the photos above, this is going to be a recreation of the Hawaiian shirt looks (whether actually Hawaiian print or not) that the two of them wear throughout the video. I kind of took them all and made a medley, so here’s to hoping it worked out right:

Ignore the hideousness of my face. It was bright outside, and my camera was shooting in RAW.

Anyway, for this outfit, I captured the light Hawaiian shirts the two wore with my actual Hawaiian shirt.

Then I tied in the essence of Rap Mon’s sick, red, motorcycle print one with the styling. (Because, as hard as I tried, I couldn’t find a red Hawaiian shirt to purchase anywhere. And when I finally found one that was similar to his, with motorcycle print and everything, it was way too expensive for my broke college student budget. So nah. Styling it was.)

So, to elaborate on the styling I just mentioned, to get the aura of the red shirt without actually having the red shirt, I simply left mine unbuttoned and placed some navy striped underneath.

And obviously don’t forget the jean shorts. If yours are bermuda-y cutoffs, then even better.

Finally, white socks and sneakers finish the look. (PS – Feel free to wear some mid-calf socks if you like.)

It may be blurry, but it feels artsy and I like it.

Anyway, we’re done! Thank you so much for reading. Once again, click here for the previous post in the series and here for the next. Also, make sure you check out my other Rap Monster and J-Hope outfit here.

Until next time ❤
