How’s that for a title?
Okie dokie, it’s time to continue the ‘Young Forever’ concept photo series. To see the last post I did in it, click here. To see the next one, click here (once it is up, of course).
Now let’s admire Gucci’s spring 2016 collection some more.
Bangtan Style: How to Dress Like Jungkook, Jin, and Suga in BTS’ ‘Young Forever’ Concept Photos
Here is the inspiration behind the outfit I created:
Jungkook is such a beautiful creature ❤
Also, why didn’t Gucci use these boys in an ad campaign?
Mistakes. Mistakes were made.
Anyway, the theme for this outfit is sweaters, shorts, and knee socks: a very cool look for both spring and fall (if you like that sort of thing, which I do). Take a look at how I recreated their looks below:
Oooh. Aaahh.
So, the reason I combined all three boys into one look is because I simply don’t have any sweaters that would allow me to make individual posts for each of them. I mean, as much as I love birds and burgundy and floral (cause I do), they just aren’t things I tend to purchase on my sweaters.
Maybe I should change that.
But anyway, to solve my problem, I simply took what I had and styled it into an ode to the originals.
(Hardcore resisting the urge to make a TV joke.)
On a different note, monochrome is really helpful for pulling off the shorts and sweater trend, just because it streamlines the pieces and makes them a little more…neutral and acceptable? Sure. Yeah. Let’s go with that.
To tie in Suga’s outfit, I added the burgundy statement necklace you see above (and below). To tie in Jin’s outfit, I went for a shoe that had some gray in it. (Too much of a stretch?)
As for Jungkook, well, consider the general styling/monochrome to be what I took from his.
But honestly, just as long as you wear dress shorts with a crew neck sweater, some knee socks, and loafers, you’ll have their outfits as spot on as possible without actually hitting up Gucci.
Now for my shoes:
Yes, they’re black. No, they don’t clash with the navy of the rest of my outfit. Neutrals, people. They always go together.
Oh, and if you don’t like the knee socks, you don’t have to wear them. But just don’t be afraid to try them out if you’re giving them a thought. Knee socks are cool, and they can honestly be pulled off by anyone.
Unless that’s just my 12 years of softball talking…
Anyway, that is all! Thank you so much for reading. Click here for the previous post in this series and here for the next.
Until next time ❤
